Launch your SaaS

Launch your SaaS — free, no queue, no editor

Most launch sites make you wait: a queue, an editor, a date three weeks out, or a payment to skip all three. LetsLaunch has none of that. You submit, you install a badge on your own site, and the next automatic check publishes you — usually within the hour, and within minutes if you trigger the re-check yourself.

What you get is a dated launch on a public weekly board, a product page with a followed link to your site, and a listing that keeps working after launch day.

  • $0 to launch, permanently — not a trial tier
  • No review queue and no editor deciding what deserves a page
  • A dofollow backlink from the moment the badge check passes
  • Launch analytics: votes, visitors and outbound clicks, live

What a launch here gets you

Concretely, and with the limits stated.

  • A spot on the weekly board

Your launch lands on the current week's board — and because the clock starts when the badge check passes, never on a week that already closed while you were setting things up.

  • A followed link that is yours

One dofollow outbound link per listing. It is earned through the reciprocal badge and kept through the votes. It is never sold, at any price, to anyone.

  • A page built for search and for models

Structured data, an indexable product page, a plain-Markdown mirror at the same URL plus .md, and inclusion in /llms-full.txt — so an AI answer engine can read your listing without rendering JavaScript.

  • Real numbers, immediately

The dashboard shows votes, page views and outbound clicks as they happen, plus which internal pages are linking to your listing. No waiting a week for a report.

How a SaaS launch works here

  1. 1

    Paste your URL

The form reads your site and prefills the name, tagline, description, categories and screenshots. You edit what it got wrong instead of typing ten fields from scratch.

  2. 2

    Install the badge

Copy the embed from your listing's badge page and put it anywhere on your own site. Any real crawlable link back to your listing URL counts — it just must not be marked nofollow, ugc or sponsored.

  3. 3

    The check publishes you

The first automatic check runs about an hour after you submit, and you can trigger a manual re-check yourself the moment the badge is live. When it passes, the listing publishes with a dofollow link and its launch clock starts from that moment — not from when you filled the form.

  4. 4

    Collect 5 upvotes

You get 24 hours on the board to clear the bar. Clear it and the listing and its followed link are permanent; miss it and the listing is hidden from browse with one free relaunch available. We email a warning if you are short with time left.

The rule: a published listing has 24 hours from launch to collect 5 qualifying upvotes. Clear it and the listing and its followed link are permanent. Miss it and the listing is hidden from browse and its outbound link drops to nofollow — nothing is deleted, and you get one free relaunch. While LetsLaunch is still building up daily volume this rule is paused, so no listing is currently removed for missing the threshold.

What it costs

  • Premium+

Where your SaaS shows up after launch day

The traffic spike is one day. The listing is the asset — these are the surfaces it keeps appearing on.

  • The week's board, then its archive

Every week gets a permanent URL. Your launch stays on it forever, with the vote count it actually earned.

  • Category boards

Your listing is ranked on every category you picked, and those pages are indexed independently of the homepage.

  • Comparison and alternatives pages

The catalogue generates side-by-side comparisons and 'alternatives to X' pages, each of which is another internal link to your product page.

  • The SaaS directory and search

Browse, search, the SaaS directory view and the sitemap all carry the listing indefinitely, whether or not anyone is looking at the board that week.

Where to launch a SaaS, honestly

Launch advice tends to skip the part where most launch sites are worth very little to a SaaS. We looked at this concretely: we fetched real listing pages across the launch and directory landscape and read the outbound link's rel attribute rather than trusting the marketing copy. Plenty of sites advertising "dofollow backlinks" do not give one. Plenty more could not be verified at all.

So the ranking that matters is not "biggest audience" — it is whether the site sends you anything durable. Product Hunt is still the largest single-day spike available and worth doing for that reason alone. Beyond it, a launch is worth the hour if the page is indexable, the link is followed, and the listing survives past launch day.

LetsLaunch is deliberately narrow on all three. Publishing is gated on a reciprocal badge, which keeps our outbound profile made of makers who publicly vouch for the listing. Staying listed is gated on 5 upvotes in 24 hours. And nothing about either gate is purchasable — Premium removes badge maintenance and adds placement, and that is the entire extent of what money does here.

The practical sequence for a SaaS launch week: ship somewhere with a real audience on day one, list here the same week so the followed link and the indexed page start ageing, and spend the rest of the week on the directories where you have verified the link is actually followed.

Frequently asked questions

How much does it cost to launch a SaaS here?
Nothing. The free launch includes the board slot, the product page, the dofollow link, comments and analytics. Premium ($19) removes the badge requirement and adds priority placement and extra SEO fields; Premium+ ($39) adds a long-form article on our blog. Neither buys votes, ranking, or survival.
Is there a queue or a launch date I have to book?
No. There is no queue and no calendar to reserve. Your launch begins when the badge check passes, which means you control the timing by controlling when you install the badge.
What if I do not want to install a badge?
Premium skips it entirely and gives a permanent dofollow link with nothing to maintain. On the free tier the badge is the price — it is what makes an outbound link from here mean something, and there is a 72-hour grace period before a badge that disappears costs you the followed link.
Can I launch a SaaS that is still in beta?
Yes, as long as somebody can actually use it. A waitlist page with no product is a poor fit — it will struggle to find votes, and the survival rule applies to it like everything else.
Can I launch the same SaaS twice?
A listing that missed its window gets one free relaunch into a new week. Beyond that, relaunching a major version is fine as a new submission if the product has genuinely changed; resubmitting the same thing repeatedly is not.
Does paying improve my ranking on the board?
No. Paid placement is rendered separately and labelled, and the board's order is upvotes. This is not a policy we can bend for anyone, because the moment it bends the votes stop meaning anything and so does the link.
